लोहितार्द्रास्तु बहवः शेरते वानरर्षभाः | निरस्ताः पतिता भूमौ ताम्रपुष्पा इव द्रुमाः || ६-६६-१३

lohitArdrAstu bahavaH sherate vAnararShabhAH | nirastAH patitA bhUmau tAmrapuShpA iva drumAH || 6-66-13

Translation

Many of the foremost among the monkeys lay on the ground, bathed in blood as they were, fallen like trees with crimson flowers, when tossed up by the demon.
