शयामहे वा निहताः पृथिव्यामल्पजीविताः | प्राप्नुयामो ब्रह्मलोकम् दुष्प्रपम् च कुयोधिभिः || ६-६६-२५
avaapnuyaamaH kiirtim vaa nihatvaa shatrumaahave | nihataa viiralokasya bhokShyaamo vasu vaanaraaH || 6-66-26
Translation
"If our longevity is short, we shall lie down, being killed by the enemies, on the earth and reach the realm of Brahma (residence of pious spirits), which is difficult to be attained by bad warriors."
