तम् प्रासम् आलोक्य तदा विभग्नम् | सुपर्ण कृत्त उरग भोग कल्पम् | तलम् समुद्यम्य स वालि पुत्रस् | स्तुरम्गमस्य अभिजघान मूर्ध्नि || ६-६९-८९

atha angado muShTi vibhinna muurdhaa| susraava tiivram rudhiram bhR^isha uShNam | muhur vijajvaala mumoha ca api | samjnaam samaasaadya visiShmiye ca || 6-69-92

Translation

Then seeing his javelin shattered, like a serpent whose powerful coils were cut off by Garuda the eagle, Angada stretched out his palm and struck the head of the horse.
