स वृक्षषण्डांस्तरसा जहार | शैलाञ्शिलाः प्राकृतवानरांश् च | बाहूरुवेगोद्धतसम्प्रणुन्नास् | स्ते क्षीणवेगाः सलिले निपेतुः || ६-७४-५०

naanaaprasravaNopetaM bahukandaranirjharam | shvetaabhrachayasa~NkaashaiH shikharaishchaarudarshanaiH || 6-74-57 shobhitaM vividhairvR^iktairagamatparvatottamam |

Translation

By his velocity, he carried away a multitude of trees, mountains and some ordinary monkeys. Driven up and away by the momentum generated from his arms and thighs, they fell down in water when their speed diminished.
