तं ब्रह्मणोऽस्त्रेण नियुज्य चापे | शरम् सुपुङ्खं यमदूतकल्पम् | सौमित्रिरिन्द्रारिसुतस्य तस्य | ससर्ज बाणम् युधि वज्रकल्पम् || ६-७१-१०६

taM bhuumau patitaM dR^iShTvaa vikShiptaambarabhuuShaNam | babhuuvurvyathitaaH sarve harasheShaa nishaacharaaH|| 6-71-112

Translation

Having charged the missile of Brahma on that arrow with the feathers and all, equal to a messenger of Yama the lord of Death over his bow, Lakshmana released that arrow looking like a thunderbolt on Atikaya, the son of Ravana.
